Anaka & Co was founded on the belief that beauty is not about becoming someone else; it’s about coming home to yourself.

The name “Anaka” means “she has adorned herself” in Shona. It speaks not only to the outer act of beautifying but to the inner power of owning your presence. In English, Anaka also means graced, favoured, and beautiful. This reflects what we hope every person feels when they engage with our brand.

Founded by Rumbidzai Audrey Mudzengi, a Zimbabwean-Australian artist and advocate, Anaka & Co is more than a brand. It is a movement. Rooted in self-expression, cultural identity, and radical self-love, our mission is simple: to offer beauty that empowers.

From our inclusive product line to our immersive masterclasses held across Australia, Anaka exists to honour all faces, all stories, and all shades. Our makeup is designed to amplify, not alter, your features. Our classes are sacred spaces where joy, learning, and community converge.
